We were on fire tonight. Charles and netted out with a big $11 win.
Harrah's casino in Cherokee, no alcohol served and everything is
digital. The blackjack "dealers" don't even have real cards. Probably
not the coolest casino ever.

Alright, I've got the posting from my phone worked out. I am a little technologically challenged, so I was having a little problem posting pictures and text directly from my phone to the blog. I'm not quite sure what I did differently, but it's working now. So get ready! My test picture (post below) is Rainey helping me at the grocery store. Isn't she cute?

iPhones!!!

In case you all haven't heard, Apple has cut the price of iPhones by $200. They are also discontinuing the 4gb version, and it is $299 while supplies last. Needless to say, as soon as the price cuts were announced, Charles and I realized that we could sell our Blackberries on Ebay and replace them with the iPhones for just about the same price. And, as if we needed another justification, Apple stock took a little dip after the price cuts were announced, so in the interest of our retirement funds I felt like we had to do our part in boosting sales and getting that stock price back sky-high.
Charles went to AT&T this morning to get them, but of course they sold the last three 4gb phones to the girl in front of him. Not to worry, the New Albany store had plenty, so off I went to fetch them. I have been wanting one of these since the first time I heard of them, but couldn't justify the price - thanks Steve (Jobs) for helping me out with that little price justification problem. So now I'm in iPhone heaven and the Blackberries are on the auction block.
I'm going to try to post a few pictures live from the Grove on Saturday for any of you out there who won't be with us. And go get your iPhones! They are seriously "awesome and cool", as Carlisle would say.

My baby goes to school

Today was Rainey's first day of school. My sweet little baby seems like such a big girl. She went right into her classroom, I think she was mainly interested in all the crying children. Then when Charles picked her up, the teacher told him that "she was an angel", of course.
