Follow up

Sorry it took so long to elaborate on the last picture post. No Megan, you're right, that's not Add's. It is an imposter, but a great one. Brent's Drugs, right down the street from our new house. I love it!! They even have the same tacky gift items as Add's. Thought all my Athens friends would like to see my girls sitting at the soda fountain - like we must have spent hundreds of hours doing the same.

House update - it is a disaster area. The outside is actually looking pretty good and we're just about finished doing all we're going to do to the outside. The inside is a mess. Still trying to get the kitchen put back together. Half the rooms are being painted. Not sure why the painter can't do one room at a time. Whatever.

Surprise, surprise, I can't seem to locate my camera in all the mess - so no pictures. All I have is my phone for taking pictures these days. If anyone can find my camera I promise I'll post some pics

We passed!!!

The bar results are finally in, and we both passed! A big relief.

Sorry the blog has been neglected lately. We're just still trying to get settled - which is hard to do when you're about to start tearing out walls/roof/landscaping/kitchen etc... of a house that you're living in.

I promise I'll start posting more pictures when get past the stage we're in now of gathering bids from subcontractors, and get to where someone is actually doing some work.

Beau Rivage

Charles was supposed to be at trial on the Coast for the next two weeks. They settled it today though, and the rooms were pre-paid through the weekend, so the girls and I came down for the weekend. Here we all are in the casino! We're hoping to catch the Cirque show tomorrow night.
