What Goes Around Comes Around

After months of looking for a new house, we finally found one we liked and could make an offer on it since we have a contract on our old house. Of course, since we were lucky enough to get a bidding war on our house last week, we put in an offer on a new house yesterday that also had another offer.

I'm trying to get some work done, but I'm utterly distracted waiting to hear something about the house. I imagine we are going to be in a bidding war of our own. We really like this house, and LOVE the street it is on. It is a rehab project to be sure, but we know that we could turn it into a great home.

If this house doesn't work out, then we are totally back to square one for houses (much to my mother-in-law's dismay, I'm sure). I am so hopeful that we will get it, while trying not to get my hopes too high. (If that makes any sense.)
